Undertow
I liked this, Green's white-trash remake of Night of the Hunter. Green's low-key aesthetic always manages to get interesting performances out of actors that I typically view as less talented (Paul Schneider, Josh Lucas, Dermot Mulroney, Kate Beckinsale, even Kristen Stewart). Watching it made me excited over the prospects of Green directing an update of Suspiria (will it take place at a trailer-park ballet school down south?). Although Undertow doesn't quite do it, Green has an all-out masterpiece in him somewhere.
